Only if Goodreads would sollfw more than 5 stars Horton Hears a Who! I won’t spoil the ending, but even though it may not be the ending everyone else was hoping for and probably no one will ever make a movie out of it, though it would be awesomeI liked the resourcefulness of it.

I didn’t just read it to the classes, I performed it. And the message is mostly clear [we took it to mean that you should meet your troubles head on and not try to run away from them], but not as heavy-handed as perhaps The Lorax. The pictures matched perfectly with the black printed text on the pages, and the expressive facial features and body positions added something extra, important details that allowed the young audience to follow along and enjoy the book.
